Since 1990 MacMillain’s Coffee Mornings have been rising in popularity and in 2016 they raised over £29 million. With a selection of cakes and competitions such as bingo and guess the height of the cake offices are able to get staff involved in something we all love – cake!
The pictures below are one such gathering on the south coast at Shogun Business Centres in Funtley. Established in the early 90’s it is part of the village’s former school and an award-winning extension that mimics the old building, brick-for-brick, tile-for-tile.
With office space for small and large companies there were plenty of people willing to put on the oven gloves and hopefully avoid a soggy bottom. The event was held in the on-site Snac Cafe.
As you can see the cakes are wide in their variety from a heart shaped Vietnamese inspired Yellow Bean and Coconut cake to classics such as coffee, chocolate and lemon drizzle.
The businesses taking part included:
Quarry Mount Care (Louise)
MunroSmith Associates (Kate, Becky)
Events for Travel (Lizzie)
TG investments (Graham)
SBC (Serena and Steve)
