As Fareham Bourough Council are set to discuss the Draft local plan and the Welbourne delivery strategy on 9th October
Angry residents from Portchester are set to march to a meeting at Fareham Borough Council on the evening of 9th October.
Concerns about infrastructure and loss of green space have prompted Portchester residents to act.
A Portchester resident has posted a social media call out to all those concerned.
‘Come and join the SAVE OUR VILLAGE march!
Starting in Wicor School Playground 1630 on 9th October Ending at Fareham Civic Offices
Bring your whole family!
Home-made banners and placards would be fantastic!
Noisy instruments would be amazing!
Come whatever the weather!
We need you ALL!
If you can stay for the Planning Meeting in the Civic Offices at 1800, great. If not, having your company for the march will be wonderful!’
Those wishing to attend the council meeting need to register for security reasons.
Call 01329 236100 to register.
